As we continue in Malachi, we are reminded that tithing is an exercise in trusting God, it honors God by recognizing that He is the one who provides it and it opens us to experience God's blessing.  

God promises the reward of restoration in response to our repentance. Rather than finding our sacrifices and prayer wearisome, God promises to restore things to what they were meant to be.
