In John 6, many walked away when Jesus’ words became hard to hear. In this message, we explore the difference between chasing spiritual experiences and being formed into faithful disciples. Moments of excitement can stir us—but they were never meant to sustain us. Jesus invites us into something deeper: a life rooted in Him. Through His teaching on the Bread of Life, we see how the sacramental life—Word, Table, Prayer, and Community—grounds us in God’s faithfulness even when emotions fade. This sermon challenges us to ask: Are we pursuing God, or just experiences of God?
